Replacement of the Front Door

　It has now been seven years since our guesthouse opened, and our wooden front door had begun to close poorly, with noticeable gaps appearing.

　We commissioned Ambiance, a company specialising in renovations, to manufacture and fit a new door. As before, we opted for a sliding door; whilst the previous door had frosted glass across its entire surface, we have now replaced it with frosted glass only in the upper section to allow more natural light in.

　In the coming season, the cold seeps in particularly deeply here in Kyoto. We hope you will enjoy a warm and comfortable stay.
